Thanks Pasadena For Supporting Measure J & Our Schools

The Pasadena Education Network (PEN) is looking forward to working with the City of Pasadena to ensure that our students get the education they deserve today and for future generations. Here's a letter we sent to each City Council member and the Mayor…

On behalf of the Pasadena Education Network (PEN), a group of more than 1,500 parents who support and send our children to Pasadena Unified School District schools, we want to thank you for your courageous decision to support our community’s schools by voting unanimously to include Measure J on the recent ballot.

Thank you for recognizing the needs of our children and families, and for making it possible for our community and voters to show their desire to help our schools thrive. Your support and the overwhelming passage of Measure J will help ensure that our children get the education they deserve, not just today, but for generations to come.

We recognize the historical significance of this partnership between the City and the Schools, and commend you for your vision and commitment to support our schools, our children, our families, and our community as a whole. Like you, we believe that we can’t have a truly great community without great schools.

We look forward to this ongoing collaboration, and working with you to benefit our students and families.

Sincerely,

The PEN Board of Directors and Staff:
