The League of Women Voters will moderate a School Board Candidate Forum on Thursday, October 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the School District Ed. Center. PEN is one of several groups co-sponsoring this forum, along with PTA Council of PUSD, Blair PTSA, the Community Advisory Committee for Special Education, and Voces Unidas.

Voters in four of the seven Board of Education Geographic Sub-Districts (1, 3, 5, and 7) will have the opportunity to elect a representative to the School Board to a four-year term on November 3, 2026. One of the four seats (Geographic sub-district 5, currently represented by Patrice Marshall-McKenzie) is not contested. Candidates from the three contested seats have been invited to participate in the Oct. 8 candidate forum. Additional details to come!
