Open Enrollment Application Window


PUSD’s Open Enrollment “1st Lottery” Application window is January 14-28, 2026.

Who can apply?

  • TK students residing in PUSD (Applications are required for all TKs, including families who wish to have their child attend TK at their neighborhood school)

  • K-12 students residing in PUSD (including former PUSD residents displaced by the Eaton Fire) who wish to request a dual language program or a school other than their neighborhood school

  • Continuing PUSD students who wish to transfer from their current lottery school to their neighborhood school for 2026-27

  • Children of full-time PUSD & City of Pasadena employees

  • Families who missed the sibling/program priority application period

Important Dates

  • Apply at pusd.schoolmint.com: Jan. 14, 2026, 9 AM- Jan. 28, 2026, 4 PM

  • Results Available Online: Feb. 11, 2026 by 11:59 PM

  • Accept School Offers by: Feb. 25, 2026
