District Advisory Council (DAC)

The District Advisory Council, representing Site Councils from each of the schools, typically meets on the first Monday of the month. This month’s meeting starts at 5:30 pm. The agenda will include:

  • Staffing shortages (teachers, subs, classified staff, etc.), open positions, long-term subs, class sizes, plus Q&A with PUSD Chief Human Resources Officer Dr. Steve Miller

  • Update on Resources Available for School Site Councils - Dr. David Rennie

  • Board update from PUSD Board Member Kim Kenne

Each school site should have at least one representative from their School Site Council in attendance at each DAC meeting; however, meetings are open to everyone and are a great way to learn more about the role of School Site Councils and how school and district budgeting decisions are made.
