The PUSD School Board will meet twice in special session on Thursday, January 14. The first meeting will be called to order at 4:00 PM, and will focus on proposed topics for an upcoming Board Retreat. The second meeting will be called to order at 6:00 PM. The agenda includes an action item, approval of an emergency cessation of in-person learning for the remainder of the month of January, per strong recommendation from the LA County Department of Public Health. It also includes a staff presentation on Opportunities for Improving Student Grades from the fall semester.

Meetings are broadcast live on Charter Cable Channel 95 and on the internet at http://live.boardmeetings.info. Public Comment on Agendized Items Only - members of the public have a right to address the Board concerning any item scheduled for consideration at a special board meeting. Please send your comments prior to the meeting start time to superintendent@pusd.us to be read by the Board Clerk. In your comments, please provide no more than 450 words to keep within the three-minute time limit.
