Private College Fair & Admissions Workshop

College Access Plan (CAP) partners with PEN and PasadenaLEARNS to present an interactive college readiness event that will bring together admissions experts from academically selective Jesuit colleges to share insider information on how private college admissions work and how to make sure students submit their strongest application. In addition to two separate workshops for parents and students, the day will end with a college fair so attendees can collect information from all of their colleges.

Saturday October 6 from 9 am - 12 pm
Lake Avenue Church, 393 North Lake Avenue, Pasadena

  • Approximately 20 colleges and reps from colleges including Loyola Marymount, Santa Clara, University of San Francisco, Gonzaga, and more

  • Part College Fair, Part Admissions Insider Workshops

Student Session (9 - 10:30 - one hour presentation and 30 minute activity/Q & A)

  • Students choose one Case study presentation: Either Common Application Success Tips OR Personal Statement Workshop (Led by Jesuit college representatives)

Parent Session (9 - 10:30 - one hour presentation and 30 minute activity/Q & A)

  • Admissions 101 Workshop (Led by Jesuit college representatives)

College Fair (10:45 am - 12 pm)
