As many of you know by now, the PUSD Board of Education has appointed a School Consolidation and Boundary Committee. This is an advisory committee that will provide a menu of options and recommendations to the superintendent by January 2018.

The PUSD administration has asked Pasadena Education Network to find out what parents think about how PUSD’s Magnet and Signature programs are being implemented.

The latest workshop in PEN’s Parents as Leaders series focused on problem-solving at the school site. Parents from several elementary schools and even a few incoming PUSD parents got an introduction to the school and district reporting structure, school governance and parent organizations, and budget basics.
