school starts on august 18!

The first day of school for the 2025-2026 school year is Monday, August 18. If you haven’t already, you should hear from your school shortly about welcome back activities, the first day of school, and more. If possible, attend your school’s welcome events so your student will feel more comfortable on the first day. Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep, has plenty of time to get ready in the morning, and has a good breakfast to avoid unnecessary stress. Have a healthy snack ready after school and be prepared for a tired child who may be unusually grumpy as s/he is adjusting to a new schedule. If you project a positive attitude, that will help!
